Cheap And Easy Laundry Detergent

I love DIY. Some of you may know this. The reason though is pretty simple. I’m a cheap ass. So when coming up with a DIY project I take in a lot of info and condense it down to the cheapest, easiest method. I’m a lazy DIY’er so I find the easiest way to do something. I goggled around for a while and found the easiest way. So let’s get down to making some laundry detergent.

The Best Trick To Get Silver

I’ve seen a million ways and tricks online to get pre 64 silver. In an effort to test them out and pass it along to all of you I’ve tested most of them. I’ve tried getting change from small laundry mats, getting rolls of half dollars and so on. I’ve failed to get any silver with any of those methods. Not one single silver dime, Between reading and thinking about my resources though I figured out a trick that has been bringing me a few silver pieces a week for face value. This trick is in no means should be your primary way to invest in silver. It is too uncertain and random. Leaving such an important part of your financial planing to chance is stupid. I would rather you head to JM Bullion or a local coin shop. As an addition to your silver purchases though this is great. Since I’m not an annoying fear mongering email marketer I’m going to tell you all about my trick for free! Let’s get into the details so you can start adding silver for face value.

Coconut Oil Fire Starter

I was watching a terrible YouTube video this morning about a bushcraft hobo meal. I wont even name the video but I gave me a great idea that I tested out immediately. TheĀ  video showed a trick of soaking cotton balls in olive oil to use as a fire starter. I use Vaseline with cotton balls to make mine and had never thought to use Olive oil. The guy said he always keeps a little jar of Olive oil in his pack to either cook with or use as a fire starter. I wouldn’t keep olive oil like that to keep it from going rancid but I know of an oil that won’t go bad. My idea was to use coconut oil soaked cotton pads to use. So lets get down to the how’s and why’s?

Coconut Milk Ice Cream

Coconut Milk Ice Cream

It’s getting warmer outside and that means that it’s time for ice cream. I am OK with the occasion treat but would rather keep to eating paleo when possible. So If I can make homemade paleo ice cream, meaning no dairy for starters, then all the better. Also being homemade I know all the ingredients in the ice cream. Lets get down to this quick and easy recipe.

870 and SOE 12ga Cards

Original S.O.E 12GA Shotgun Card

I was watching some videos on YouTube the other day and saw a neat trick from James Yeager. He took some sticky back industrial strength Velcro and used it to attach an SOE shotgun card to his shot gun. My first thought was that thing looks super simple, I’ll just grab some Velcro and elastic and make a shotgun card. I figured it would be a nice DIY article. If you notice the title though this is not a DIY article but a review of the SOE card. That’s because my project failed miserably. The thread kept breaking in the Velcro. After a few hours of frustration I decided to order the SOE ones. When I saw the quality of the SOE ones I knew that ones I had tried to make would have been crap compared to them anyway. So instead today I’ll be reviewing the SOE 12 gauge card and how to make a quick and easy side saddle.
