Tiny House Update 1/5/2015

As you noticed I took off most of December for the holidays and to finish up the tiny house for the move. The flooring alone took almost an entire week. My main concern was to get the living room and loft completed to move in. I wanted to get the entire project done before moving in. Time and money became an issue though. There are a few projects left to be done. A few really important ones.

I’ll have to put them on the back burner though. The race to beat the cold weather is over. It has arrived. This week will see temps in the single digits. I saw that one day is supposed to get down to -1. That’s extremely cold here in the south. The freezing temps puts a real hamper on things. So let me fill you in on what Has been goin on and share some pictures.

Mine was both built on the cheap and very high quality. Choosing the best I could afford over time. Trading up when the chance presented itself.

I thought about a quote yesterday. I was going to put it on the Survivalpunk Facebook page. I still might. I thought was profound enough to make a blog post on it though. What’s the best way to protect your 2nd amendment rights? Teach a liberal to shoot. Instill the joy of shooting.

Some of you might be yelling at the computer screen. Some think I have lost it. Think what I’m saying is crazy? Think it’s impossible? Are you saying you can’t make a liberal love shooting? You are wrong. I have seen countless examples. I have done my part in helping spread the art of shooting. I have come to love shooting. I’m no liberal by any means. Now anyway. Why is it the most important way to protect the second amendment? How can you teach a liberal to shoot? Let me help.

The Days of Noah: Conspiracy review

Mark Goodwin aka Prepper Recon just released a new book. The Days of Noah:Book One: Conspiracy. He shot me an email with a copy of the audio book to review. With the two-hour long drive to the tiny house location it was a blessing. I can’t stand the talk radio for that long.

Is there a secret cabal working to collapse the international economy in order to usher in a global government and one-world currency?

The book follows two main protagonists. Noah, a school teacher, and Everett, a CIA analyst. You follow them as things start to fall apart. You watch as Noah’s life is turned upside down. You get to follow Everett down the rabbit hole.
